1. Ten to twelve members volunteer to serve on the Grant Review Committee.
2. St. Lucie County non-profits are notified of the amount of the grant and are invited to submit Letters of Intent for review and evaluation.
3. The committee members individually rate each Letter of Intent and then come together as a group to discuss the evaluations and determine which non-profits will be asked to go forward and submit full applications.
4. The committee members individually rate each application and then come together as a group to discuss the evaluations and determine which non-profits will become semi-finalists.
5. The committee members make site visits to each of the semi-finalists.
6. The committee members come together one last time to determine which three non-profits will become our finalists.
7. At the Award Celebration, each of the three finalists presents their program and the need for said program to the full membership. Members vote on the spot. Those members who are unable to attend are given the opportunity to vote online a few days prior to the Celebration. Thursday, August 14, 2025 - Invitations extended to organizations selected by Grants Committee to submit full applications
Thursday, September 4, 2025 - Full applications due to Grant Committee
Week of September 29, 2025 - Site visits of semi-finalists
